Due to increased demand for services 1300MEDICS is seeking to increase our pool of Brisbane and Gold Coast based Physiotherapists to work as part of multi-disciplinary medical teams at a selected major sporting events throughout the year.
Our Physiotherapists work in a team environment alongside Doctors, Registered Nurses, Paramedics and First Responders.
- Minimum three (3) years post graduate experience in sports medicine private practice, sports team or emergency department environment
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 12 months experience in side-line sports setting
Services provided by our Physiotherapists include:
- Acute injury response and assessment
- Acute injury immediate management and referral
Services do NOT include massage or manual therapy.
Physios are employed on a casual basis with work offered to suit your availabilities. All Physios are employed (not contracted) and are paid full entitlements including superannuation. Shifts are normally forecast months or weeks in advance. All medical equipment, consumables and medicines are owned, managed, and deployed by 1300MEDICS clinical operations team. 1300MEDICS provides training and cross skilling opportunities for Physiotherapists interested in emergency response skills.
